Residential Living
Nine community homes are operated by Raystown Developmental Services to assist individuals with special needs to maximize choice, independence, and opportunities for socialization. Choice making and the principals of self determination are incorporated into planning and every aspect of daily living. The home environments are comfortable and tailored to meet the needs of each individual.
Families are encouraged to continue to be a part of their family member's life. Staff members will work with residents to achieve goals in daily living such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry. Individuals are encouraged to actively participate in community events. Supervision is available at all locations to provide the necessary oversight of both employees and residents.
