Eleven community homes are operated by Raystown Developmental Services in the Huntingdon and Lewistown areas. These homes accommodate one to four individuals with intellectual disabilities and assist them to maximize choice, independence, and community integration. Most importantly, staff assist them to achieve an Everyday Life. The principles of self determination are incorporated into every aspect of daily living in the community homes. All homes are comfortable and tailored to meet the individual needs and styles of the individuals who call them home. Each home is staffed to meet individuals' needs and additional support staff such as representative payees, Medical Specialists, Program Specialists, and Site Supervisors also provide care and support to the homes.
