Individuals work in conjunction with a Habilitation Aide to identify the needs of the individual. These areas may include menu planning, budgeting, home maintenance tasks, personal hygiene and accessing other social service agencies that are necessary to help maintain independence. Habilitation Aides also provide assistance for participation in community activities associated with the goals of the individual. Some of these activities may include exploring nature, shopping, attending concerts and community theatre, dining out and other scheduled events.
